History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He became a Bowyer soon after.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
