History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Kyle was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ernest was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Map Maker for the past few years.
