History: He was born in a small mountains village. Through the years after Raymond was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Raymond's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in the west to a Crown-heir, Trey learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his youth he was a Shepherd, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
