History: He was born in a small mountains village. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Server hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and revenge

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Thomas was born with his father's beautiful face. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to reunite with his absent father

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ernest does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ernest was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he loathes his own lifestyle
