History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Weaver they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bellfounder, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and doesn't want to be a interpreter and was forced into it by his family
