Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He married young, but lost his spouse to gnolls. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: A 6'1" eastern man, he wears baggy yellow pantaloons and a black scarf. His hair is red and very short. His green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He is a Chromatic Dragon in disguise. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He's also a talented Laborer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Description: He wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a monstrous two handed axe, but if one is not available he will default to his lance, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'2" when asserting himself. He has moderate length red hair. He has gray eyes.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born in the west to a Merchant, Kyle learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. Gilbert enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His parents enrolled him in a Warrior school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Money/treasure.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a brown cloak and cross-gartered blue stockings and is in decent physical shape. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Godfrey was born the youngest of three triplets. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to reunite with his old friends
