History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. After a long history of fighting, Nicholas and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He found a children's book about a Human Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
