Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His childhood dream was to be a Painter, but he was a colossal failure. He became a Bricklayer soon after.

He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered
History: Born to a Glassblower, his father struggled to pay the bills. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Shane liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to share knowledge with the world
