History: Thomas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body, and is pretty ugly. His black hair is long and unkept. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker green hat.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ernest embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born in the east to a Baker, Ernest learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Ernest was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Guy and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Arnold was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Arnold and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he is wracked by social anxiety
