History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He worked as a nervous Spice Merchant and found it very stressful. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born in the west. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: He got into the Fortune-teller business at a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Slave Trader, but he was a colossal failure. He struck the Fortune-teller job and began his own company from there.
