His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting drow, the young Jocelyn began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He's in love; and he has a crush on the local butcher

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC.
