History: He was born into a rich family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Born in the east to a Cook, Anselm learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills.
