History: Gerard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Gerard was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Barrister. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
