Description: He stands about 5'6" and wears tan leather gloves, a tan jacket, and tight pants. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His white hair and beard is wavy and long. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Roland was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty pastel coat over it. Sporting a auburn mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He worked as a nervous Navigator and found it very stressful. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
