History: Gerald was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Simon was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dyer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dyer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Bertram never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
