History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Lance alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Lance and his spouse have recently divorced.

His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shortbow use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Kyle was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.
