Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Cory lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to unite with his brother

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
