Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Ruler business.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born in the north to a Soapmaker, Clerebold learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He married young, but lost his spouse to brigands. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His hair is cut close to his head. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Bernard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ploughman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Butcher and occasionally as a mercenary.
