History: He got into the Shepherd business at a young age. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against dire rats

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Chad was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Jeweler. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
