Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Charles was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Herbalist. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

He prefers to carry a greataxe, but if one is not available he will default to his hammer. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He keeps his silver hair in a pixie cut. His eyes are brown and beady.

Personality: Ernest is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ernest studied abroad. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His childhood dream was to be a Sellsword, but he was a colossal failure. He became a Jeweler soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Jeweler responsibilities is difficult.

Description: A 6'4" western man, he is wearing a tight pastel one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cory grew up listening to his father's many stories. When Cory reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
