History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Lewis never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. The war was a terrible time for him, and Wymar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
