Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Richard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.
Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears grey trousers with yellow and white striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His brown hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Patrick took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up halberd and armor he uses now. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Patrick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

He accessorizes with a tan scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy black hair. His violet eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: He got into the Gardener business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Gardener. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and wants to open a new tavern
