History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His childhood dream was to be a Servant, but he was a colossal failure. He has achieved small success as a Miner.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born to a Marshal, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
