History: Lance lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Servant, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Gifted from a young age, Bertram studied abroad. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Justin is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
