History: Solomon lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Shane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
