History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. Hugh was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Cartwright. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
