History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Kody was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Beggar. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Kody never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Hugh was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of giants

History: Godfrey lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
