The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Frederick was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Frederick was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Frederick's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Frederick and his spouse have recently divorced.
