He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Weaver they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Spice Merchant, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Through the years after Lance was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Lance's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
