History: He was born in the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Bertram's homeland. Bertram decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
