History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
