Gilbert's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
