History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Cory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. After coming to the age of reason, Cory took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Ernest is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: The child of a Spy, who enjoyed hunting, Ernest was taken on many hunting expeditions. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born in the north to a Fortune-teller, Manfred learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Through the years after Manfred was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Manfred's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and further expansion of business
