Roger Wharton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many grey ritualistic tattoos. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Cartwright but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roger grew up listening to his father's many stories. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Roger took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
Ideals: Entrepeneur, Fighting, Pacifist. Bonds: Adventurer, Nature. Occupation: Cartwright
Voice: Excited and jittery

Gilbert Kendal, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears suspenders and brown workpants. His shirt is grey, and he wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time. He carries with him a set of lances on his belt, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. He keeps his long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. His skin is flawless and his gray eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Gilbert reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gilbert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
Ideals: Fighting, Athletic, Opinionated. Bonds: Attractive, Military. Occupation: Weaver
