Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Bookbinder who has hired him part-time. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Richard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Baker mother left him crippled. After a long history of fighting, Aldous and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His childhood dream was to be a Butcher, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has never given up on his painting dream.
