History: Born in the north to a Spy, Gilbert learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Navigator. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Slave Trader who has hired him part-time. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Hubert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has achieved small success as a Slave Trader.
