History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Body Guard. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A freak accident while working with his Roofer mother left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.
