Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. With bright brown hair and a scraggly beard. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: Gerard was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and doesn't want to be a bookbinder and was forced into it by his family

Description: This man stands a little under 6'5" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. He has wavy silver hair. His violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.
History: Miles lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: To unite with his sister; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: He stands about 5'11" and wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.
Personality: Miles wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.
History: He got into the Interpreter business at a young age. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

He has a auburn handlebar mustache and slicked back auburn hair. His violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and his religion dominates his actions
