The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Richard took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up crossbow and armor he uses now. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He got into the Navigator business at a young age. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Navigator. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature dagger.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and balancing his hectic life and new navigator responsibilities is difficult
