History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Jocelyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Patrick has worked very hard to control his curse. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
