Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized red coat. His white hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Roland lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He has styled his white hair well, parting it to the left. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Gilbert was born with his mother's beautiful face. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His eyes are amber and beady.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
