History: Simon lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gifted student he started as a Mayor, but he got bored and became a Layabout. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a Dyer, his father struggled to pay the bills. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
