When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Anthony hails from a village terrorized by brigands. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and revenge

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He's also a talented Priest, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and further expansion of business

Personality: Heward speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Gifted from a young age, Heward studied abroad. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and to prove his worth to the world
