History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He was born into a rich family. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Marshal born in the past three hundred years. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: The child of a Bowyer, who enjoyed hunting, Balimaar was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Marshal.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Randal was born with his mother's beautiful face. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Carpenter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carpenter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
