History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. History: Hunter hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sickle.

History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Roland was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it
