Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Gilbert was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
