Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born to a Bowyer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His childhood dream was to be a Bowyer, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: He stands about 6'2" and wears skinny pants and wears a white and grey robe with the hood down. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His head has been shaved. His amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he feels threatened by others

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He sports a long chestnut beard, and similarly colored long hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Odo was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This western man usually wears his black robe and has his bastard sword always slung over his shoulder. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a blue coat. His hair is short and chestnut. His fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
