History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He became a Unemployed soon after.

Personality: He is a Shoemaker first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He became a Shoemaker soon after.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to unite with his brother

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alex grew up listening to his father's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He uses divination through singing.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
