History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He found a children's book about a Human Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to be a roofer again
