History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He became a Spice Merchant soon after.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Heward hails from a village terrorized by giants. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Heward was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Adam abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is greedy; and money/treasure

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Ernest was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ernest's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to end his boredom
